Cassie and I had the best date seeing the Ice Castles on Tuesday. I worked all day to get my engineering homework and lab done and I picked Cassie up at 5:40. Cassie got this date for me for Christmas, and we had been looking forward to it for quite some time.
We went to Silver Dish (Thai Place) for dinner and the curry was delicious.
The Ice Castles were incredible. We were shocked at how pretty it was. There were so many colors, and really good Kung Fu Panda and How to Train your Dragon music playing. The ice was smooth and pretty everywhere. It also helped that it started snowing while we were there, making the experience truly magical.
As we drove back through Midway, Cassie spotted a cute gazebo, so we had to stop and take a closer look. Cassie was in heaven.
We closed the night out by getting some Hot Chocolate from Dutch Bros to warm ourselves back up.
